I was planning on uploading all the shows. Now I feel that is almost a pointless task since The Dead have given permission for AUDS to be on archive.org. A huge thanks for this news is directed at Zooma. He posted about this in his blog Inspiration Move Me Brightly. If you haven't checked out this site you should. It is full of great music and fun thoughts.
PS This is only for The Dead from 2003 on. No SBDS or Matrix only AUD sources. Also nothing from The Other Ones. We can hope that will change right.

Damn, you were gonna do almost all of them? That woulda be WAY ambitious.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's such crap, methinks, about the older SBD restrictions. Copyrighted or not, THEY'RE OUT OF PRINT. If a thousand people trade them, it's not like The Dead's losing any money because THEY'RE OUT OF PRINT!!!!
Okay, maybe a legitimate reason would be that maybe someday they will be for sale again via download or whatever. But what if that never happens?!? The same darn thing's gonna happen with the SBDs from this tour. Eventually they won't be for sale. Then what? They shouldn't be traded and everyone's shit out of luck? How stoopid is that?! Sure, the SBDs can be gotten from people who don't care about trading them, but that takes work.
Eh, whatever.
Yeah it was going to be fun. Instead I am doin the setlists and song lists of this tour. So far Touch is in the lead with 3. I am expecting to see a change in the next couple shows. Prolly with NFA or Truckin'.
